In a long time... not a word, none
They used to be my go to TV meal
Real aluminium trays were all the rave
Back in them good ‘ol days son
When Swanson rode the wave as # one
Yep, you could say prime time, wasn’t prime time
Until you devoured every bite
I’d buy ‘em by the stack at the grocery store
Chicken pot pies and Hungry Man
It maybe sounds real silly now
But then... that meal meant a whole lot more

Heck, I couldn’t wait to stay up late for those
Black & white and super bright in living color shows

It put us on the run, sayin’... I’ll’ be, dinners already done!
