It's A Guessers Game - By Dan'l MclLhenny

She’s bought daffodil’s to brighten-up her kitchen

Look...you can see ‘em sittin’ on the window sill

When sun rays come beamin’ in

The yellow takes on a rather nifty neon glow

But the show’s not long before the thrill is gone

Fiddle on the back porch

Whistle in the woods

Take another breath of sea blown salty air right in

Reacquaint  your eyes with midnight starry skies

Dance out in the wind and rain

When a storm starts pourin’ down

While your life is vibrantly around

It’s a guessers game

Where we go from here

Three cheers for the braveheart

That rests and thrives in you

Cause there’s a lot of livin’ left to do

Cacti from the garden store she grabbed the other day

The handsomest assortment brings shapeliness galore

A planter bowl resides outside in close proximity

Ravaged by a coastal squirrel now it sits so sadly bare

Perhaps there, her batch of succulents may be the perfect remedy

Fiddle on the back porch

Whistle in the woods

Take another breath of sea blown salty air right in

Reacquaint  your eyes with midnight starry skies

Dance out in the wind and rain

When a storm starts pourin’ down

While your life is vibrantly around

It’s a guessers game

Where we go from here

Three cheers for the braveheart

That rests and thrives in you

Cause there’s a lot of livin’ left to do
